WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We’re recruiting an Associate for our Seattle, San Francisco, and Washington, DC offices. Key responsibilities for the Associate position include:

  • Developing strategic frameworks and hypotheses, leading research, and driving analytical efforts on client engagements, including building analytic models and performing qualitative and quantitative analyses
  • Shaping and writing client deliverables, including strategy presentation materials, executive memos, and supporting documents
  • Supporting client project teams by developing workstream-level workplans, identifying bottlenecks and coordinating with related work-streams and stakeholders, and managing vendor relationships and junior staff as needed
  • Developing and maintaining trusted working relationships with client and Camber team members
  • Supporting business development, recruiting, equity and belonging, and other priority initiatives within Camber

Excellent candidates for this position will have:

  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving aptitude
  • Demonstrated interest in global and/or domestic social impact sector
  • Proven ability to author clear and compelling presentations, memos, and strategy materials
  • High level of emotional intelligence and strong communication and facilitation skills
  • Intellectual curiosity, humility, self-awareness, and desire to be on a journey of continual improvement and innovation
  • Experience in, or understanding of, the communities Camber and our clients serve is a plus, but not required
  • Undergraduate degree, AND:
  • 5+ years of work experience at a strategy consultancy, government agency, foundation, nonprofit or private sector organization and a Master’s degree in a relevant field (MPH, MPA, MPP) completed or in progress with completion anticipated within one year; OR
  • 3-5 years' work experience at a strategy consultancy, government agency, foundation, nonprofit or private sector organization and a Master's in Business Administration completed or in progress with completion anticipated within one year
  • English language fluency; working proficiency or fluency in other languages is a plus

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Compensation for this role includes Base Salary and Profit Share Bonus, and the Annual Total Range for compensation is $135,000-$145,000.

Camber offers a generous benefits package, including 100% employer-paid medical and vision insurance, voluntary dental insurance, paid time off and sick leave, IRA with employer contribution, annual $500 health reimbursement arrangement as well as flexible spending accounts for dependent care and transit, and an annual professional development stipend.
